Asin is ready to begin her training in the ancient martial arts form of Kalaripayattu along with Japanese actor Tadanobu Asano.
The Ghajini girl has been in Chennai lately to shoot for a commercial. She’s now headed to Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram to begin her training in Kalaripayattu under the guidance of some of the best teachers of the martial art for her role in the movie titled ‘19th Step’.
On the other hand, Tadanobu Asano has also flown to India. He’s already met Kamal Haasan who is the film’s male lead.
Reports say Asano will also undergo training in Kalaripayattu for his role.
The training, to begin from June 4, was to start much earlier but was delayed because Asin had injured her hand a few weeks back.
Meanwhile, during her stay in Chennai, Asin has been catching up with old friends. Though she’s shifted base to Mumbai and is now among the top actresses of Bollywood, Asin still keeps in touch with old friends like Vijay , his wife Sangeetha, Surya and others.
