Gone are the days for Asin when she was lonely in Mumbai for now she has found a close friend in her neighbourhood and that special friend is none other than the legendary’s Sridevi. Asin, who is new to the city and Sridevi live in the same building at Lokhandwala and it seems as though the veteran actress has been showing the young starlet around.
It’s not only Sridevi but also her two lovely daughters who have become great friends to Asin. Just as in Ghajini where, she was shown helping kids in the film, Asin also enjoys spending quality time with Jhanvi and Khushi, Sridevi’s two daughters.
Recently the actress told a daily, “Yes, at last I’ve made close friends in Mumbai. You’ve to see how close I am to Sridevi and her daughters. I spend almost all my non-working hours with them.”
Asin admits that her bond with Sridevi is very special. The common link that makes them close pals is that both of them were very young when they started their filmy careers in the South; maybe that’s the reason why Sridevi understands Asin.
In Bollywood, where true relationships are a rarity, these actresses are setting an example of togetherness. Asin takes out time to be with Sridevi whenever she is free and accompanied by the kids they visit the city’s restaurants and even watch movies together - “She has completely taken me under her wing. Anything I need, I just have to ask her,” said Asin.
Asin’s other close neighbour is the quiet actress Tabu who also lives in the same building on the third floor. Asin would love to meet Tabu some day but for now she is happy to have made a friend like Sridevi and even considers her and her daughters to be not only neighbours but family to her.
